Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.

When the name Benedict Arnold is mentioned the word "traitor" comes to mind because late in the Revolutionary war, Benedict who had been put in command of West Point in New York by General Washington, betrayed Washington and made arrangements with Britain to surrender his forces but the plot was discovered and Benedict fled to the British who rewarded him for his treason making him a Brigadier General of British forces to fight against his own people.
What you probably do not know is that it is very likely that without Benedict the American Revolution may have failed very early on.
In 1775 Colonel Benedict along with Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain boys captured Fort Ticonderoga. The first big victory for American forces against the British.
Benedict was also involved in side tracking the British forces by being a constant pain in their side in Lake Champlain at Valcour Island. With the British moving their forces to deal with this flare up it gave the Americans the necessary time to gather and train and prepare their forces for the real battles to come. Benedict led special forces in the siege of British fort Stanwix and in 1777 suffered severe leg injuries during the battles for Saratoga.
But all of his sacrifice and bravery is forgotten because of his traitorous act in the end and now instead of a reputation as an American Hero he is remembered as one of America's greatest fiends. Arnold escaped the Revolutionary war with his life and was rewarded for his treason by the British. He led his British forces into routs of the Americans even in his own home region. After the war he lived out his days in London.
There are many such traitors in the Bible. The greatest of course was Judas who served the Master all throughout Christ's ministry as one of the most important of the disciples being one of the twelve that accompanied Jesus nearly everywhere, but in the very end betrayed him.
We think of Samson who fell in lust with a woman. Samson was so conceited that he thought he could play a game with God's blessing and toyed with Delilah but betray her lover she did. He was blinded and forced to replace an ox at the grinding mill.
We think of Absalom, David's own son that betrayed his father and led a military coup against him. Symbolically Absalom was betrayed by his own head. His glorious long head of hair ensnared him in the branches of a tree. Hanging there by his own hair Joab and his men caught up to him where they tortured him. Joab stabbing him with three wooden staves in the chest. Joab was a professional warrior. With one swift swing of his sword he could have ended Absalom's life. Instead he took his time plunging one wooden stake at a time skillfully avoiding a deadly blow directly into the heart itself but leaving three painful darts in the midst of Absalom's chest then leaving it to his men to finish him off.
Then said Joab, I may not tarry thus with thee. And he took three darts in his hand, and thrust them through the heart of Absalom, while he was yet alive in the midst of the oak. (II Samuel 18:14)
As I hear the media excitedly reporting on this brilliant move of Zelensky with his all out offensive against Russia they are betraying the Ukrainian people. This recent move by Zelensky is suicidal for Ukraine as has been his handling of this entire war. It makes me wonder whose side Zelensky is on?
Why do I say this? Lets start with the current offensive and go backwards.
As this great offensive thrust of the Ukrainian forces came near the Russians pulled most of their troops to the side keeping a small contingent to keep the Ukrainian army busy much like what Benedict Arnold did to the British in Lake Champlain. The Ukrainians moved in quickly to a war torn territory that had been held by the Russians for some time and they and the world cheered on their supposed great victory.
Then last night the lights went out and then entire region was plunged into darkness and the internet and all communications were cut off and now the Russian rout of Ukrainian forces begins without the Russians needing to advance and instead, fight on ground they know and are prepared to take.
Zelensky has the great planners of American military at his disposal. Why has he played into a game hand of the Russians so well known in American fighting history? For the same reasons he refused to accept the original peace offer before this Russian offensive began.
If you do not know Russia did not launch a surprise attack but had warned Zelensky repeatedly both before and after the offensive began. The terms were not "surrender or else." Putin laid out his terms to avoid the war and they remained the same to end it early.
1. Remain a neutral country. Neither in league with Russia or NATO and write it into the constitution of Ukraine that they will not join Nato.
2. Accept the independence of the people of Donetsk and Luhansk and Crimea who voted overwhelmingly to withdraw from Ukraine following the 2014 revolution of the elected government by foreign involvement and forces.
3. Root out and Discharge all Nazi's from the Ukrainian military. The US had long ago withheld military aid to Ukraine because of these Nazi troops. The world knows it was true and the world should have pushed Zelensky into conformity.
Instead of pursuing peace on terms that made sense because all of this was reality already, Zelensky led his people into a trap taking advantage of real patriotism by the Ukrainians he made the issue into one of survival of the Nation of Ukraine and by so doing has put the very existence of Ukraine in jeopardy. Zelensky is either a traitor or a fool or both.
He has pushed for the U.S. to enter his war and we have in too many ways. Our billions of dollars are not accounted for and some of his own party have been caught fleeing with US dollars and US war machinery is being sold on the black market. Who is getting the proceeds? The US pretends not to care and just sends more and more guns of war that are admittedly going into the hands of terrorists around the world.
As I look at all that has happened it is as if Zelensky is betraying his own country - not to be a friend of Russia but of the World Economic Forum and the Oligarchy elites of the West who desire to use this war and others soon to come to plunge the world into chaos so that the plans of the "Great Reset" can move forward.
The Western fake news establishment media has been all out in favor of Zelensky always refusing the terms of peace to perpetuate this wholesale slaughter and destruction of the Ukrainian people.
Zelensky ought to read his Bible. Isaiah warns that traitors will be betrayed. The elites and communists know that if someone will betray their own people that they cannot be trusted. Zelensky thinks he will be a hero and live out his days in wealth somewhere in the Mediterranean sipping martini's on the beach. No. When NATO is done with you they will do what they did to Saddam and Gaddafi and countless others. You are nothing more than a disposable fool and the destruction and blood of your country is all over your hands.
